Lake Country Adventure Co is operated by Lake Country Adventure Co. Inc.
Minimum age for rental is 21 years for propeller craft and 25 years for sea doos
A valid driver’s license must be presented prior to rental
A valid boater’s license or digital copy must be presented prior to rental. Temporary license available if renter agrees to complete training module
Lake Country Adventure Co. reserves the right to void a rental contract or reservation if in their sole opinion the operator is incapable of operating the craft safely or cannot communicate effectively
Only those people who are entered on to the rental contract and who have a boater’s license or have completed the training module can operate the boat or PWC.
Only with a credit card deposit can confirmation of reservation be completed. Deposit is equal to 1⁄2 of the rental fee greater than 14 days, full rental fee less than 14 days
Renter agrees that additional charges may be charged to credit card deposit for excess cleaning, fuel used, late return or damage
Cancelled reservations on the rental day will receive no refund
Cancellations with < than 14 days but more than 48 hours will receive a full refund.
Cancelled reservations with < 48 hours’ notice will receive a 50% credit on a future rentaland a 50% refund
Credit card or cash damage deposits are mandatory for each piece of equipment
Damage deposit does not limit the renter’s liability in the case of a severe or total loss
Lake Country adventure Co. has the right to refuse rental in the event that there is a weather situation that would pose a risk to the renter. This could include limiting the rental agreement to a geographic area or daypart or full cancellation. Conditions for weather cancellations include wind speeds or wave heights in excess of a boat's limits. Rain, chance of thunderstorms or overcast will not be a situation that would cancel a rental agreement
Renter must obey all speed limits, no wake signs and reduce speed close to all shorelines or canal walls. Failure to do so could mean provincial and federal offences including dangerous operation of a vessel or careless operation of a vessel
Mandatory safety equipment is included in each rental. Do not remove these from the vessel or PWC unless an emergency. There is a personal floatation device for each occupant of the vessel and it is recommended that they be used throughout the use
None of the watercraft rented by LCAC allows for the legal consumption of alcohol. In other words, alcohol use is forbidden and occupants can be charged for such use by the police
As an operator in charge of the watercraft you must be attentive at all times to your actions, your guest’s actions and behaviour, other boaters, swimmers, objects in water, depth of water and changing weather conditions. Renter will have a cell phone on their person while renting
No towing of tubes, skis or wakeboards
No night time use 30 minutes after sunset or 30 minutes before sunrise
Our motto is “We rent excitement.... Outdoors” but our goal is for you to have a safe yet fun experience.
